Try being where you are

Today, we invite you to try practicing being where your body is, if only for 30 or 60 seconds at a time.

Our culture, and our habitual thinking may pull us towards thoughts and feelings about something in the future or something that happened to us in the past. Our wellbeing and the amount of joy we create depend on paying attention to what is here and now.

If we create something meaningful but aren't able to feel a sense of accomplishment (because we are already thinking about what's next), we miss out on the joy of our efforts.
