How do you handle stress?

Today, I'd like to invite you to consider how well you cope with stress.

What do you do when you find yourself under intense pressure at work? Or caught in what seems like a prolonged stretch of stressful events that just keep coming, one after another after another?

Specifically, do you eat differently?

Maybe you crave specific foods - usually ones that comfort you, and probably ones that are particularly salty, sugary, or fatty. Or, maybe you overeat - going beyond your body's cues of satiety.

What are your go-to foods that comfort you?

What are the things that tend to trigger stress (and cravings) for you?

Just notice for now, and see if you can become more aware of the ways you eat when you're feeling stressed, and what the sources of stress are.

Maybe you're fine with the way things are, fine with the impacts of this pattern.

Or, if you want to, you can decide at any time to change, knowing the impacts are not going to make your health and wellness goals easier.

Consider: How might it impact your goals, your sense of self confidence and pride, if you learned a few new skills to help you cope with stress, reducing or even eliminating the urge to sooth yourself with food?

If that sounds like it would move you towards your goals, book a call today to find out more.
